Piedmont Triad Chapter - National Black MBA Association

Mission and Vision Statement

As a professional membership organization of minority students, graduates with MBA’s, advanced degrees, entrepreneurs, business and community partners, our mission is to increase the numbers as well as the diversity of successful minorities by:

  • Increasing awareness and facilitating access to higher education programs and career opportunities;

  • Providing innovative programs to stimulate intellectual and economic growth;

  • Building partnerships with key stakeholders;

  • Developing the pipeline of youth and a framework for their exposure to business practices;
  • Supporting the NBMBAA five areas of engagement

The National Black MBA Association

Established in 1970, the National Black MBA Association is dedicated to develop partnerships that result in the creation of intellectual and economic wealth in the black community. In partnership with over 400 of the country's top business

organizations, the association has inroads into a wide range of industries as well as the public and private sector. Yet all of NBMBAA's partners have one thing in common: they are all committed to the organization's goals and values.

The organization gains its strength from a strong belief in community and a commitment to its development through economic

and educational development initiatives that support the global African American community.

Visit the National Black MBA Association for more information on the national organization.
